Hi everyone, I've recently cleared out my loft and found lots of my old toy collection I've been storing for over 20yrs. I have lots if loose Star Wars figures from the original 3 films which I will be putting on ebay, but I was wondering if anyone could help me with valuations?
I have Princess Leia, chewbacca, Darth Vader and 2 imperial storm troopers... I have attached a photo,
Many thanks

Yeh I have looked on ebay already but I was wondering if anyone on here could advise me as to what I should expect so I can maybe offer as a buy it now or reserve as a bulk or sell them separately? This forum seemed the best place to ask that's all, cheers

Will there ever be a new member that comes on and says "hey guys, dunno much about these, wanna make me a fair offer?" Instead of "hey guys, can you tell me how much these are worth, as I'm too lazy to look on ebay at completed listings, and when you have told me, i'll never be back on here again, cheers."

:/

They are now on ebay as a bulk selling, with a newly discovered R2D2 as well. Sorry if I've offended anyone by asking for a valuatio , but I thought that this forum was for that reason, I am new to internet selling. I have plenty more figures and random accessories that I will post on here 1st before I place on ebay, cheers guys. This sale number is 321224000161.

Hi

Maulster79 is spot with the valuations, but they will only sell for what someone is prepared to pay for them.

It is refreshing to notice that you did actually post a picture of the items your selling, most people who come to the forum merely for a valuation don't so please don't take it to heart about offending anyone, it's just that we get this type of question asked over and over again usually without pictures.

Good luck with the sale :)

If you sell on eBay you loose out on fees, if you sell on the forum you don't

The Stormies are pretty white. Even without weapons i think you can expect more than £4 each. Maybe £5.50 each.

Why are you guys bothering??

He has blatantly come on here got his free valuation and stuck them on eBay...

I think that Vader is a rare Double Telescoping one though, might be worth up to $8000.

Good luck and watch those bids fly in!!

the reason for the postage is that i am selling all the figures together and I like to use recorded delivery for everything I sell and I also ensure that I use good quality packaging. I haven't made any money on any postage I've sold things for at all. If you want to buy I could strap all the figures to a pigeon, show it a map and tell it to fly straight to you... then I might make it a bit cheaper :)

£9 postage   No wonder you wanted to sell on eBay your just another rip off merchant

I am confused with the negativity towards the chap here - why does he 'have' to sell them on here - and why can't he come an ask us for valuations - no-one has to reply if they don't want to.

That seems to be the stock response over on RS if anyone asks a 'newbie' question and I would like to think we are better than that.

Rather than giving him both barrels, why not be helpful and anyone who is interested PM the guy - he seems reasonable enough

There seems to be some thought that people 'should' sell their items to us if we provide valuations - sure this would be nice but you have to remember just as we don't know them from Adam - they don't know us either

I agree it can be frustrating to go through pages an pages of figures, giving someone a valuation and then see them pop up on eBay without another peep out of the originator - but that is life

Like I said I don't make any money on postage, I've lost money on some sales... you will get a proper box not a packet, with individual bubble wrap and other safe packaging inside... that's worth £9 easily if you are buying something that you clearly collecting... try searching for chill pills, you can find them on ebay for a reasonable shipping price...
