Shhh, don't tell everyone.

I think i've mentioned it before but a truly mint DSD is really hard to come by. Even most carded ones are not what a lot of collectors would call mint. The paint gets chipped off this figure probably easier than any other. So when one does come up in truly excellent shape it always fetches good dollar. One sold last year for about £55. People wait an age for them to come up so are ready to pay out when one finally does.

Agreed with Pete!

I had to buy a Graded AFA 90 one! I am still debating wether to break it out the case :|

That are dam hard to come by real mint. :)

The carded one looks like an 85, to be fair.

Liam, breaking him out would probably cut the re-sale price a little. Does it rattle at all? Most of them do a bit. Sooner or later he's going to be an 85 or worse in the acrylic.

Its does a rattle a bit mate but not as much as my Ble Snag and other figures so i think i will keep him in his tomb for the time being :)

trouble is descriptions are subjective on e-bay, i thought i got myself a minter from a canadian auction for $30 - described as a true gem!!!!! stiff limbs great paintwork. When he arrived i was gutted his legs were not what i would describe as stiff , which is another proplem with this fella, and on close inspection lots of small chip marks. not bad condition for a dsd certainly , but my expectations were too high. As Pete says truely tough to get a mint dsd.

Am really glad I managed to bag a second DSD back in the day so one got played with while the other has stayed pretty decent - paint very good, only one leg has a little loose movement. Saved myself a tricky and pricey hunt for a minty loose one by the looks of things!
