Gotta say I was far from a fan of her's. She kinda highlighted a lot of what was wrong with Britain, people being famous for appearing on some reality TV show and basically displaying an incredible lack of any knowledge, where is "East Angli-eeer" again? Yet continuing to try and stay in public eye when most sane people wish they would just crawl back into the cess pool.

BUT, how she reacted/coped since her diagnosis has been fantastic. Fair play to the girl! Especially one who has two such young children. In respect to her continuing to talk so openly about her condition and encouraging others to go and get screened as well as wanting to leave her children in a safe financial position (and in a stable family) is actually very admirable. It's unfortunate what happened to her, and god know's I wouldn't wish it on anyone, But fair play to the girl she showed herself to be a pretty decent egg/spud (for those of you who understand Celtic, slang) in the end.
Hopefully if her actions in her last few months encouraged only 1 person to go and get checked out and that person ends up catching their cancer in time, then her life wasn't in vain.

RIP Jade Goodie

I saw a programme a week or so ago and due to her condition, a hell of a lot of women are having more smear tests. RIP Jade and my heart goes out to her young family.

It was an awful situation and i wouldnt have wished it on anyone, she was a bit shovel and pick and spoke the first words that came into her mind but she has shown the world that we need to glad for what we have and appreciate life.

Hopfully her children will grow up remembering her for the brave person she was to the end.

its really sad, and as some of you said she typified what is wrong with this country but how can you not feel sorry for her and her children. god knows how i would have coped at 27 with someone telling me i had terminal cancer and was going to die ..... i guess there was more to her than everyone thought :(

It is incredibly sad and I feel nothing but sorrow for her two boys and also their father that has to help them through this time.

BUT I cant help but feel like her "husband" was in it for the money and as for the lowest of the low bottom feeding Max Clifford, the less said the better!

I thought she had left all her money to her kids?
I assume she (or her highly paid lawyers) had the sense to put it in trust for them until they were 18/21.

IF thats the case, then why the **** did he stay with her?

No offence but she was pig ugly and thick as ****!

Mate I don't know! Was he a looker? Han as our Ex Navy boy your probably best qualified to answer that one!

to be fair though she's still thinking of us.
she want's to be cremated and her ashes to be put into little bags
she wants everyony to have a goodie bag.
ho hum

LOL!

I saw an Ad in the paper "FOR SALE - Blonde ladies wig. Unused mothers day girft. Contact Jack, Essex"

Credit where credit is due, Jabba sent me that one! But feel free to abuse me if you find that offensive!

I think its a shame that she is dead. Goodie is the same age as my girlfriend.
Goody has young children that now have no mother.
Regardless of her not being the brightest star in the sky its still not good at all.

Cheers.

Grant.
