Hi mate

Don't worry, your messages are going through - it's just that they sit in your outbox until the recipient reads them

Just so you all know - I agreed a deal with this guy - and had booked everything so that I could pick them up on Tuesday - as per his PM, we had a deal and he'd buy me a drink when we met up

Today I get a PM from him telling me they are sold - not sure if someone on here upsurped me or if the seller is just a prick but just goes to show that no deal is set until the handover

Asked him about the custom ones and he replied "Customs"?! Pretty sure he knew more than he said.

Poor form indeed! Something seemed fishy from this guy straight away! "Calling it treasure" means he knew what they were worth. VCJ Looked liked a ben cape/ fake to me? What do the VCJ experts think?

All red bold letters and somewhat rude approach and I was sure someone was going to get ****ed. Plus not many childhood collections contain a fake VC Jawa. Glad nobody bought from him.

Hi guys,

Just to put this to bed. I bought this sellers items. I was obviously ubaware that there was a deal going through with Iain, I asked the seller if he had any offers and he told me a ball park figure. had I known Iain had done a deal then obviously I would've withdrawn my interest.

I have PM'd Iain and explained in full and he is fine with it all.

Just to confirm, the VCJ is indeed fake. I still cannot figure out if he knew more than he let on, all I do know is that he wanted to get them sold and was pretty quick in doing a deal.

I hope you all know me well enough to know that I would never undercut, upsurp or in anyway sabotage a deal. As I said before he kept me completely in the dark.

I feel quite bad about the situation, but its really not my fault.

If anyone wants to ask me about what happened I will gladly answer any questions and i am happy to post messages between me and the seller and also post the explanation I gave Iain.

I have done everything I can to sort the situation out and i hope no-one thinks badly, its just an unfortunate situation.

Bram

Bram, i don't think you have to feel bad at all.
Naturally you do, as you are a nice guy. But you haven't done anything wrong.
You had no idea that the guy was a shifty twat.
Stay happy :)

Hey Bram, hope your on the mend. I don't think anybody is at fault apart from the seller. If he says there are no deals pending, only a ball park figure, you can only take him on his word. As TFB said, he came across quite rude.
Shame about the VCJ though.

Well, to me he just seemed like he wanted rid of them.

Until I found out what he had done he seemed a decent bloke, it was just that he had no interest in star wars figures.

I'm glad no one thinks I'm out of line.

I got the all clear today after a not so nice procedure, they had to do a lot more than planned, so once my body has recovered i should be back up and running.

I'm just gonna feel a bit wierd selling the figures on the boards now...

Bram

Bram has done nothing wrong here at all - the seller was just a prat - he made a deal and then went back on it - only positive is that I didn't drive all the way to London for him not to show

Anyway, plenty more fish in the sea !

Hi Bram, Dont beat yourself up, These things happen. Glad its sorted now. Good to hear your on the mend too..... :D If you are selling on Im still interested in the loose AT AT commander Thanks
