I've only ever used soapy water on figures, Todd said he used Armor-all after cleaning his figures though (which is one product the guy in the video mentions) and he said there have been no problems so far..
PS: I had an inkling that it was coming but I decided to give the guy the benefit of the doubt because he seemed like he was an all original kind of guy..then RIGHT at the end he goes and mentions you can buy repro stickers to put on Star Wars vehicles - DOH
Why I ask, is I got some very dirty figures and vehicles from a childhood. I have never seen such dirty things
Normally I use soapy hot water or a wet cloth. I have never used a toothbrush. I also do not put all my figures in soapy water. I once put a death star commander
in soapy water and when I dried it with a cloth then the insigna was falling off so now I always go around insigna so I do not make damage on them on other figures.
I have also seen some figures get a lot of white stuff on the legs and arms after I have had them in soapy water and dried them. The white stuff first came after I cleaned them. It could look a little bit like frosting :?
Could be cool to see videos of how other people clean them. But not videos like this one how to destroy your figures as I understand it
