Anyone got any experience of selling over the xmas period, are people willing to buy things or do you think they are all spent out?

I have a few bits to sell not sure to put them on now or wait till the new year.

I'd wait now. I just sold a load of loose figures that went for less than 50 p each

It depends how 'rare' the items are.

Some sellers still get lucky listing loads of items at once as people try to win more than one to get a postage discount !!

i think things tend to sell for more over xmas personally, certainly more than they do in the summer anyway!

maybe that's just carded figures though. as always luck has a lot to do with it.

What yopu guys are saying isThe collectable stuff still sells but the ordinary bits and pieces leave till after new year??

what is the better time to sell in the year then??

If the items are good enough and popular they will sell at anytime in the year.

The biggest problem right now is posting items due to the holidays.

If the demand is there then they will still sell for the right money or more if theyre scarce but personally i see everybody shortly after Christmas skint!

i'd agree with edd , put things on so they finish next week , there is hardly anything on ebay over christmas and everyone is sat at home bored and on ebay bidding :) .

anything finishing this week will be less as everyone wants stuff for christmas so put it at least a 7 day auction

Why what have you got to sell?
someone on here may be interested

wozza it is not really any star wars stuff mate just general **** from round the house also some toys.

Definetly, this is my plan - to start / relist some auctions tomorrow for 10 days.
