Hi everyone.
I'm a 45 year old who remembers being seven years old watching star wars at the cinema for the first time! I will never forget the experience and still get goosebumps when I see the Star Wars logo and hear the opening bars of the theme! I am guessing quite a few of you had the same experience
I'm from Plymouth. My reason for selling the collection is pretty simple.. I married my Aussie fiancé on July 4th this year and am selling everything to go join her in Melbourne
I posted about this collection first when I was in Australia and am now back in blighty so was able to take some photos and accurately list everything individually (which took some time!)
Reading through some of the posts I realised that it would definitely be wise to introduce myself to you all. I absolutely agree that there are too many scammers out there and have been approached by dubious people myself so wanted you all to know that I a, in fact a real person
In truth it will be sad to see the collection go. I had many hours of pleasure from it all as a boy but the time has come to part with it albeit reluctantly!
I hope whoever ends up with it gets as much pleasure out of it all that I did. It certainly was nostalgic working through it all. I am disappointed that some of the comics seem to have disappeared. I had every single issue and have no idea where they could have gone but there it is!
