I'm ebaying those 12 backs now and I'm already getting questions about postage to the states. Whats the most secure way to send internationally? I'm not fussed about quoting a high postage but after getting shafted recently by items going astray in the post during the strikes on standard delivery and paypal insisting I have to refund the sellers regardless of proof of posting I'm not taking any chances anymore.

So whats the best service to use for international delivery? Airsure provides tracking and insurance but no signature and I want the seller to have to prove it hasn't arrived, you can also do international signed for without the insurance or level of tracking.

What do other people use when shipping to the states? Whats the safest method?

I always use international signed for and you can pay for extra insurance:

Don't underestimate your postage costs or you could get a shock at the post office. Personally I would work on Ã'£10 minimum or you could just pray that a loaded Brit will buy them !!

That sounds a good shout, is insurance much extra? Item will cost about Ã'£200. I'm not sure how much all in it will cost to send an AFA MOC including an average amount of packaging to the states, I'm guessing about Ã'£13 at least with the insurance and signed for option. Definitely take it or leave it though, I'm not chancing it again, the postal strikes cost me about Ã'£100 on three lost items, I had proof of postage clearly stated it was to be sent as standard delivery but Paypal issue a refund to the seller on their word it hadn't arrived. One seller in particular had 92% feedback and claimed back on a number of sellers stating items hadn't arrived going back months. I swear he just figured you can buy something and then get your money back through paypal off the seller as well:evil:

To be honest I keep wavering and thinking sod it I'm not selling them I've decided if I don't get a good offer on the two afa ones I've listed within 5 days on ebay then the markets obviously not there at the moment and I wont be selling. The kids can have a poundland christmas. :D

dont leave yourself short at the post office there is nothing worse than getting to the post office and finding out its going to cost more than you charged
