Hi Guys,

Couple of queries in relation to the miscard Yak below.

The ink over the warok appears to have been done by biro, thus leaving an indentation. Is it worth going over this with lighter fluid to remove it as the indentation will still remain?

On the bubble bar the dings to the two top corners the bubble is quite nice. Is there anything i can do to try and improve these?

In relation to the yak itself it is only for personal display and not grading so the comestic improvements are only for my enjoyment.

Any thoughts welcome!!!

I would leave it! Quite a valuable figure. Likely the writing was done by a Palitoy employee!

Tampering with it will only devalue it and may cause damage...

What he said

Dents in bubbles are extremely difficult to take out and the process can cause damage. Don't bother. Nice card

Removing dents is easier than you'd think, just have to persevere and be careful.

I wouldn't touch the ink, even if you do remove it there will definitely be an indentation left behind (tried it before ;)) and tbh it's all part of the piece and it's history.

I do not believe the name change was done by anyone at Palitoy, it was likely done on the secondary market by a dealer or even by a collector. I have seen at least 2 other identical figures with the name corrected (so my bet is on a dealer).
