Hey Fellas can anyone tell me from my shitty photo if any of these is a black blaster to suit Luke Stormie?

The top two show a greeny blue glow with light behind them so I think they are out, the third is a blue blaster for comparrison and the fourth is the one I'm hoping is it. It doesn't show any colour when held against light it is black but not as shiny as the rest and it's the one that came with my Luke.

Hi Ryan, it could be the correct one you have as no. 4.

Here is the one I have, It is also black.

Thanks Pomse, it certainly looks similar but mine appears a bit duller in finish. not as shiny.

For me looking at those pictures I'm say that your second one down is the correct mold for the Luke ST blaster but if it isn't black then it's not correct. Your bottom 2 look like the Euro V3 and 7 on the gunnery but if the bottom one is Black then that would make it Ledy(V6), does any have raised bars under the magazine and are the magazines angled or square?

Hi Lars, yours looks like it could be repo to me. I spoke with Iain about a couple of these that he has that he is getting other opinions on, there is also other POTF repos out there that have the same flashing of the black plastic(not as neat as originals), Endor blaster and Luke Ponchos come to mind.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I hope you are wrong about this scott. I think I bought it between 2002 and 2005. But they did maybe make this one as repro then ? It floats in water. Maybe it is the light that makes it flashing . I will take a look at it again.

Hi Lars, If you've had it that long then I may be wrong but I don't have one here to compare it to.

Flashing is not like a camera flash. Excess 'flashing' is the extra plastic bits of plastic you can see where the two halves of the mould join together.
So the middle palace blaster in this pic is fake

the extra 'flashing' makes the trigger hole look smaller

I have always thought why I have had such a hard time to find another black stormtrooper blaster for my other luke stormtrooper.

I have so many blasters, but I do not think any of them is black enough :?

Hi guys I was thinking that Thall Joben and Kez-Iban use the same blaster. So I was comparing them with my luke blaster.

1. is for luke stormtrooper
2. is for Thall Joben
3. is for Kez-Iban

I think I have to scream a little more arghhhhhhhhhhh I also think the gun for Kez-Iban is wrong it is more blue/black. but the gun for Thall Joben looks fine to me.

What do you think about gun no. 2 ?

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the info.

The top two have angled magazines and the bottom two have square, not too sure what you mean by raised bars underneath the magazine though so I hope I'm looking at the right thing. The piece that sticks out the side yes?

Can't see any raised bars on any of them for what my feeble intellect can muster.

It would be great if some with a luke stormtrooper MOC or Kez-Iban MOC could confirm that this blaster is also correct for those figures and put this hole debate to bed.

Now we only need pictures from luke stormtrooper MOC and Kez-Iban MOC to confirm they also have that blaster
