Hi. I am late in getting into the Imperial Assault board game but I would like to take a stab at painting the miniatures. I am an absolute novice at this and dont really know where to start. Does anyone have any advice on any paint brush/paint sets I can purchase?

Thanks

Yes they seem to be geared up for Warhammer when I look at the starter sets. I have found a good You Tube video with a step by step guide painting the stormtroopers from Imperial Assault and the guy lists the paints and brushes he uses. Actually he recommends Series 33 rosemary and co brushes as a good budget option.

I got a set of these when I started painting models again in 2020

They're nothing fancy but they do the job

Paint wise resellers are generally cheaper than GW direct. Wayland Games are one example. It's also worth looking at different brands like Army Painter or Vallejo, both of which you can get cheaper than the GW options.
