Hey fellas,
I purchased a second hand Imac last year ( 2011 27 3.4 GHz i7 ) from a chinese gentleman, it works brilliantly but when I try do do any updates and I get asked to enter an Apple ID password it still has his email address entered with no option to change it. I'm a complete and utter numb skull when it comes to tech and from what I've been able to find on google it will require a complete format of my hard drive in order to change the computers ID.
I know I should have done this when I first purchased it
but it now has all of my files and programs on it and clearing all that to start again would be a major pain in the arse. Anyone of you learned gents know a way around this or am I stuffed?
Cheers Ryan.
