I got taught how to cycle on what off them jabba. I also remember a boy in the early 90s who used to ride about on a chopper. Every 1 used to take the piss out off him. These bikes are worth money now

My 1st BMX was a Dirt Burner I just wanted one with coloured spokes (canary yellow).
I got ripped to **** because of it,everyone else had a (was it) Diamond Back or something?
Used to pretend it had a flat tyre or some other excuse after a while so I wasn't seen with it.
Then used to get Mum saying why aren't you playing o your bike anymore??
The lies you used to tell when you were younger to keep your parents happy

you were mad Lee

That was still a proper BMX in my book

All my mates had Red Lines and I had a cheap version of a Diamond Back - (it was a Pro Star but they were made in the same factory).

I loved that bike, my mum gave it away after I left home :(

I had a second hand mk 1 grifter before that it weighed a ton

I'm stil waiting for someone to make a decent watch that you can also watch tv with like they promised 20 years ago !!

Ah the classic Grifter 8) Weighed as much as a Honda Goldwing. No matter how hard you tried you could never wheelie the bastard

My mate used to have one and we used to ride side by side like we were cops in Chips

i had a blue budgie as my first bike, then i had a striker (the one with the black rubber grip things on the front), then i got a hand me down grifter, it was a shite brown colour, but if you put a disposable plastic cup under the back wheel arch it sounded like a motorbike !!!!

grifters were shite ,nightmare trying to get up a hill .i had a chopper but gave it to rag and bone man before i learnt to ride it

i had this, it was great for standing on the middle bar and a little lighter than a grifter!
