Is anyone else feeling completely trapped in their job because of this **** economy?

I am completely stuck and I know I should be greatful as a lot of people don't have jobs, but **** me it's hard.

I know a lot of people who feel the same Dom.
Now is not a good time to be looking for work, most are keeping their heads down, gettin on with their jobs and just hoping something better comes along.

I'm a semi account manager for a mortgage network which explains most of it. Can't remember what a challenge looks like and this isn't an industry I ever wanted to be in

The insane thing is my collecting is part of the reason I'm still here. I don't have a massive mortgage and my wedding is 99% paid for, but I love my collecting and it's my thing. I don't drink alot or go clubbing, my car went to pay for the wedding and this is my vice, but it really keeps me going which is an insane statement.

I know I have to shut up and take the money, but if I do finally flip I'm going out like a monkey. I'm going to jump on my desk, crap in my hand and start throwing it!

I think we all go through these phases, but maybe think about changing jobs when the upturn is in full swing.

I hear you. I finally graduated from Uni earlier this year, but am still working the same part time job. Luckily, it pays decent and my wife works too. I applied for a full time job in my department and after two interviews and it only coming between me and another guy, they put a hiring freeze on the department. I've got a few of the higher ups pushing to make my current job full time, but I'm not holding my breath. Luckily I get some side jobs that come up which helps with some SW cash.

i am ok got enough cash to cover bills and sit on my ass all christmas and work lined up for next year and a great new woman .once court gives me better acceess i will be total happy .though everyone gets ****ed off with work no matter what they do unless a pro spots man.place i used to work at has just ****ed everyone of just before xmas and a few of other mates have been layed of. **** time of year to loose your job

I totally hate my Job.

Have done for a long time.

Can cope with most of the Kids, it's management I hate. Every single thing I do has to be checked and double checked. It's like a big brother state at our school. :evil:

Im trying to re train to do web design. I have a pretty good brain for ideas, so hopefully could make a few quid. I have always known I want to be self employed and thats the way I want to go.
