Buyer sent me the following message upon receiving it.......

Good Afternoon,I received the package in the mail today. I unfortunately am very disappointed. The condition of the box alone was alarming, as it was bulging from an item being too large for the container and covered in packaging tape. I also was shocked to see i paid $35 in shipping charges and you spent $13.18 in postage and a used box . Once I struggled to get the cooler out I was again disappointed. I opened the package in my home to find the bottom of the cooler home to a spider and 2 egg nests. Upon further observation the cooler is filthy with dirt and dust. At this point I opened the top to look inside and it was as I assumed, dirty. I was excited to receive this item only to now feel that you are the "winner" in this situation after you received over $100 of my money for your dirty cooler. I am not impressed. I would like to give you the opportunity to respond to this situation.

I pointed out to the buyer that dust and a spider are not damage. I also offered to refund the difference in postage as I charged what others were charging for the same identical cooler for postage and did not realize it would be that much of a diffeence in shipping costs.

After my reponse. The buyer opend a case as not described and is now claiming that there is actual damage!!!! I think they are looking for a huge discount. As far as dust goes and spiders goes.....grab a ****ing wash cloth and some soap. Do any of you think this dumb **** will win?????? BTW this person could have been far less rude with their "Your the winner" crap on first contact.

I would never send stuff out dirty. Can only cause issues like this. If all it needed was a quick clean, why not do that before sending it out?

Jason

It was clean Jason. It may have had dust in the crevacies but by no means was it entirely filthy (look at the pictures). For me, in regards to this buyer, If dust is a major problem for you...maybe you should only buy things in person and not on the internet, if you are so anal. From now on I will powerwash and lick clean anything I send out. I do not think a discount is justified for dust......but with ebay the buyer is always right.

Dust - high in fat / low in fat

anybody ?

Looks clean, states has wear and sold as final.

On another note if you're going to lick everything clean can you not donate the KY jelly from another post?

I may need the KY Jelly in case this buyer wins based on dust and a pet spider I missed hiding in R2's leg. I swear if they win based on it being a dusty item...I am done selling on Ebay! When I say win... I mean they will return that big heavy ass cooler to me for a full refund. That is unless they take my shipping refund...but as you can see they were ready to fight from the get go.

States it is second hand and has wear so the item IS as described. Hopefully ebay will see that the buyer has added "there is damage" just to try to win the case as he mentioned no damage whatsoever in the email which you think he would have done having "inspected it carefully".

The damage was mentioned in the claim as "Well when we were cleaning the flithy thing we noticed some damage around the bottom". This was never mentioned in the first email and after I advised them that dust and spiders are not actual damage....all of a sudden the reponse is ..."Oh wait it has damage". If I could choke someone through a computer screen it would be this idiot.

A BIT OF DUST FOR ****S SAKE!! people like this really piss me off!!! why do the ****ers bother bidding! i feel sorry for the poor spiders in all of this , poor bastards will have to find some where else to live.

Well in the end they took their partial refund on shipping (Which I did not deny I owed them) and they called me an asshole! From now on I will bust the feather duster out and remove any of my pets. They also added that it is people like me that give Ebay a bad name.

Result.
If i call you an asshole, it will cancel out the other one and your karma will be restored.

Come to mention it- that X-wing Diecast Cardback you gave me has a little flies pube on the edges....

Yeah.. He stated he would never buy from me again. I said that's ok because you have already been blocked as a bidder anyways.
