I'd rather have Robbie Keane than Defoe and Darren Bent but there is no way Spurs would sell him, plus he doesn't have the pace we really need.

i am not saying he is bad player, just not cut out for the premiership. kleberson won the world cup but was ****ing useless in the prem... horses for coarses

I go away for a week and there's an Arsenal thread and Jabba's been talking sense :roll:
Although I'm sad to see Henry go it is good business sense, he'll probably get more injuries over the next couple of seasons and he was destabilising the squad. Gilberto is a better captain, and if Van Persie stays fit he can score goals.
At this point in time Anelka makes the most sense as a replacement, he's a goal scorer and he wont have to adapt to the prem - though the board don't like him. Walcott can take over from him in a year or two.
Although Teves is great I'm not sure he's a 20 goal a season player, and he'll cost a bomb.
There's no way Owen will come to Arsenal as he's in the same boat as Henry, his best days are behind him and he's too injury prone.
I cant see Wenger going this season and if Fabregas goes, Denilson will take over.
I'm actually looking forward to next season, we finished 4th this season without Henry and RVP, scored as many goals as Chelsea and the kids are all a year wiser
