Hi

Just wanted some advise really on ebayers who don't pay.

How long do you wait before emailing them?

What do you do if they don't respond to your emails?

Do you relist or go for a second chance offer etc?

How do you keep calm grrrrr?

Any advise would be useful

Regards

I now don't bother emailing them. I just open a case after 10 days. I also add their ebay name to my block-list to make sure they can never buy from me again (and the forum block-list on here ;))
BUT if you wanna email them i'd do it after 7 days and then open a case 3 days after that.
It's really frustrating but i get about half a dozen a month. It just comes with the territory.

i dont even give them 10 days anymore, 5 days later and i open a case and block them, if they cant be arsed to contact you and ask for extra time then 5 days is long enough.

i hate them, a lot of them do it now to get your listing off ebay if they are selling a similar item, people create a second account just to do it.

I agree with the above. I might start doing the same. You can't be harsh enough with these cretins.

I pretty much never only have 1 of an item so i've never experienced someone trying to buy my item just to get it off ebay. Interesting theory tho.

I send them the payment details everyday until they pay, then open a case as soon as I can - usually this prompts them to pay. If it doesn't then then it's onto the blocked bidder list, which after over 10 years of selling on eBay is HUGE!

Pisses me off 2, you get them week in week out, I only list on free listing days now due to all the fees, but its set in stone that there will be at lest one none payer a every month.

I have my defaults set to open a payment dispute after 5 days of no payment & I add them to my ever increasing block list.
