Hoverboards

I know there have been versions of hoverboards in the past, but this seems to be a bit closer to the mark than anything I have seen before. Also it will be commercially available soon...

Time to cover my garden in metal me thinks :mrgreen:

Hmmm.. it's pretty good but they have until next year to get it sorted out so we can be wizzing around our local high street like Marty McFly in BTTF2.

Since originally posting I have found out it was fake, sucked me in but its really cool. Quantum Levitation is real, but this vid takes it a step or two further.

I'd love one, but seeing as I could never use a skateboard in my younger days, I doubt I'd be any good with this now that I'm older

Got to go with real Joe....

This is the same company mentioned in the first post, they talk about its uses in industry and transport as well as hoverboarding.

Also the way the Birdman struggles to control it as there are no wheels to keep it n a straight line. I can't help to think if it was faked they would have gone for a more 'traditional' board rather (like the movies) than that big clumpy thing.

I hope I am right :?
