Help required with this one if possible VCJ Palitoy

I have owned the below for about 12 Years now and done bits of research here and there but now I need the experts on here to help me if poss.I realise its a reseal and that the bubble was flat on original 12 back Palitoy Jawa its really whether the VCJ is genuine or not and really what to do with the piece , I have take a photo next to an AFA 80 VCJ I already have, Can anyone advise me the best thing to do with it , I originally bought it with a load of original Star Wars carded 12 backs more or less a full set that had had the top of the bubble cut off each one I guess they thought it would be a great way of displaying them Hindsight is a wonderful thing I know.

Any help / thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Hi Simon,

I've got to say that the VCJ does look legit as best I can tell but without seeing a tighter shot and out of the bubble it's very difficult to say for sure. You should be able to see if one side of the cape has the cross hatching detail on it so I would take a good look at your AFA one under good light to see the texture on one side of the cape and then see if you can see the same thing on the reseal. These capes do get put on both ways so you might find the texture is on different sides.

Bubble looks wrong but maybe I'm just wrong about that.

No you're right Grant, it's a cloth caped style bubble which does seem off that a VCJ has been put together with it. Simon mentions this in his first post but I think the question is more about if the VCJ is real as he doesn't want to open it.
