Picked these up from a seller on RS, he is adamant that they are original and I am equally adamant that they are reproduction. They all sink in water and have none of the detailed markings associated with the original weapons. Can anyone see any reasons why these could be genuine vintage weapons

Sorry to hear this, what a bummer!

You need to get junior chubbs nostrils on the case, he can sniff a repro from a mile away

From what I can see from the pics, the imperial blaster and staff is definitely repro,
need macro shots of the endor blasters and string attachments of the bows though.

Those endor blasters look to be the V1 repos here, all those accessories should float anyways shouldn't they.

So now we know this guy sent you repros despite saying he definitely didn't and accusing you of being a liar. Wonder if he'll maintain his stance now this has been proven. I think i know the answer to that.

well Iain i'd be happy to give you a character reference for what its worth and im sure all the lads and lasses on this forum will back you up!

If it looks like a rat, smells like a rat and sinks like a rotten repro rat...

Hear hear.

I feel the same as a few others on the blasters, not looking good. I haven't seen enough bows to make a call on them.

Seconded on this...

Hi itfciain, all this weapons should float in the water if they were original.

But be careful the water test does not work 100%, but it can help you a lot.

Some repro does also float.
