Welcome indeed! Thanks for the great introduction and story. I have similarly vivid memories of the toy shop (also sadly now long gone) in my old home town of Ware in Hertfordshire back in the 70's and 80's

This forum is a terrific place, so I hope you stick around and make the most of it.

Thanks Snaketibe. Outwith Blackpool, the local toyshop in my village (also long gone) was magical. I still remember buying R5-D4 to play with. The concept of collecting was still years in the future for me!
