Has anybody bought loose vintage from starwars1977-1985??

Hi

I just want to find out if anybody has dealt with starwars1977-1985 on ebay uk?

He/she sells loose vintage figures and states on some auctions that the weapons are 1990's and other auctions 100% original. I'm no expert with loose figures but even i am unsure if some of the auction that say 100% original weapons are actually genuine looking for some advice from the experts.

Examples

Luke Jedi Snap cape - Listing states cape and lightsaber are original what do you think?

Darth Vader - Again listing states cape and lightsaber are original what do you think?

Luke Bespin - Again listing states Gun and lightsaber are original what do you think?

In my opinion (though i may be wrong) some of the above accessories look like repros.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated collecting loose seems like a bigger minefield than collecting Moc lol

Hmmm...i've got a brown haired luke farmboy coming from him/her soon (they're actually holding on to it so i can bid on some of thier other auctions & combine postage). I'll take a closer look....

seems a bit odd - I thought the snap cape only came with the moulded head luke.

Its not the best pic for the bespin luke saber,but it does appear quite dark there..

On the Luke Jedi the snap cape looks like the ones I have had. Going from just the picture the saber looks like an original to me.

I've been able to verify that the snap cape also at least came with the Blue Saber Hong Kong Luke on 65a card. On my carded one you can make out the snap inside the bubble.

I think i have always steered away from this seller because of repro stuff.

Yeah I agree. I just double checked and mine has square corners. Here is a pick of my snap cape Luke.

I think it is him, well like you said the pics etc look like his plus i know the guys name is dave (the same as diezels).

....so, where there problems with diezels. I won one of this guys' (Dave as you said) auctions, & he's been pretty up front with me.

I don't think I have dealt with this ebay member before, but I won the luke jedi snap cape auction pictured above. I received the figure today and am very happy with it

The cape in the picture looked to have rounded corners ... so I was a little worried, but when it turned up the cape looks in great condition with square shaped corners as it is suppose to have (The corners must have been turned back when the pic was taken) The sabre was also vintage so I am happy with that transaction. JR
