Hi All

Happy new year. I created a post today on the Star Wars 3-Position Laser Rifle and the ESB Electronic Laser Rifle.

The Star Wars toy guns created by Kenner were quite limited but have remained very popular among collectors. The 3-Position Rifle made it to ESB packaging, the ESB Electronic Laser Rifle made it to ROTJ packaging. The Laser Pistol was made for all three films.

I could read stuff like this all day
You refer to the 1981 version being more screen accurate - it's actually a good deal less accurate once they removed the 3 position stock as the original props were sterling sub machine guns or casts of them.
