I used to have an xbox but got rid of it due to too many problems with it.
Don't feel too bad. I posted the first post while waiting for the postman and my copy didn't turn up today either!!!!!!!

Only played a small amount tonight, games awesome- I bet its great on the console without lag because its hurting my pc pretty bad, even at lowest graphics settings i had some quite bad lag through the first few levels.

Won't be disappointed though guys, hell of a game!

Ive got the xbox version. It's unbelievable. I think it's tougher than previous versions. The control system is so intuitive and the graphics are sublime too. Im a bit shocked that you can shoot peoples arms clean off (Queue a few unwanted flashbacks……) and literally blow them up :shock: They love to be controversial!!! Great game though!

It took a while to get used to it. I don't think its as good as mw2 but it's a good stopgap. I haven't played the actual game but only online.
I have managed to get upto level 27 with very little gametime so I am guessing that prestige will be REALLY easy this time.

I waited up on the midnight release and i have lost a bit of interest. But i am hitting level 42 now so not too far away from my first prestige! Haven't touched the single player yet.

I'm mainly working through the single player campaign at the mo (I've had a few games of team deathmatch) and I still have no real interest in the story - it just seems to jump all over the place as an excuse for the player to do something that hasn't been done in MW1 or 2:?

Compared to MW2, I think the game lacks refinement

Parts of the story are just direct rip-offs from vietnam films. You drive a gun-boat up the river to a bridge with a young soldier on board whilst the Rolling Stones are being played - Apocalypse Now

In another bit you are dragged from your prison cage in the river and forced to play russian roulette against your friend, who then shoots the guard and you escape - The Deer Hunter

I'm waiting for some set-pieces to occur straight out of Platoon, etc.

Last night I got a bit where I had to fly a helicopter up the river & through a canyon, yet it is imposible to crash the damn thing!!! I tried to fly head first into the cliff and you just bounce off :shock: :roll: :lol:

Anyway rant over, I'm of to hunt some min loose figures to calm me down :mrgreen:
