how much are mint loose VC jawas going for now?

and what about C9

and C8.5

cheers

need one badly now.... but dont wanna get ripped!

prices i want are assuming 100% original...

On completed listings on Ebay, one went for £105 and a UKG (70% graded) went for £160, AFA carded ones at 85% and above are going for £5000+

But then I'm sure you've checked that allready!

I'm getting hold of a job lot of mint figures from a friend who claims to have some 'very rare' ones! I said I'd sell them on Ebay for him in return for a pick of the best couple for myself, if I come across a VCJ, I'll let you know....

99% sure he wont have one but I'm holding out for a couple of last 17s none the less, try Augie (remember him!), surely he's dug that hole by now.....

I wonder has he found all those fantastic toys he was so convinced he would!?

I guess it's hard digging holes to find burried toys when your locked up in Psychiatric unit!

I would not buy one unless it was AFA in this case. I despise AFA, but way too many fakes out there. The only way I would buy one ungraded is if I hd it in my hands to inspect. You guys starting to have "Auggie" withdrawal???

ive been offred one, its from someone i trust, so im happy it is authentic, without being in a gayFA case

Glad to hear it. Those AFA cases get in the way anyways  . Post pics when you get it.

Am thinking about maybe selling my MOC AFA 80. There was a 85 sold at premier collection auctions last week for $7000 + 20%

nice

the one ive been offered is loose but in nice condition

should a C9 loose with correct blaster (no side knob) be about £200? or more

I wouldn't pay more than £150 - you can always buy a scruffy jawa with a good cape and swap the figure for a mint one

Jabba, you snap this one up mate and then tear the thing open

re the side knob or button
Jawa Gun: There has been much discussion over what gun was originally released with carded Vinyl Cape Jawas in 1978. Evidence over the years has shown that both versions of the original, black (or dark green) Jawa gun (shown at top left) with or without the side knob or button were released with the figure. The Jawa gun that was bluer in colour (shown at bottom left) was never released with the Vinyl Cape Jawa.

allso if you want to be exact
Size of the Jawa's Eyes: Another characteristic of an authentic, factory-sealed carded vinyl caped Jawa is the size of the Jawa's eyes. The paint masks used at the factories to paint the Jawas' eyes changed over time. The early, Star Wars-release Jawas had larger, close-set eyes as seen in the image on the far left. The paint masks changed later in the line so that the Jawas' eyes appeared smaller, and set further apart as seen in the image here; near left. When scrutinizing a carded vinyl caped Jawa, pay close attention to the size of the eyes. To date, there are no known carded examples of an authentic vinyl caped Jawa with the small, wide-set eyes.

ive just passed on this VCJ - although it is VERY good condition

think ill try get one for 180 or lower - but in no rush

anyone want to part with one here????
