Hi there all,

As an avid fan of "Star Wars" since 1977 (yes...I am old!), I collected all kinds of memorabilia connected with the film when it was first released.

I've been finding it surprisingly hard to find current valuations of my items on the internet, and hope that you might be able to give me a few pointers.

I'd like to begin with something I cannot seem to find any detailed mention of, (though that is probably due to my own ineptitude), namely:

A model of Darth Vader's Tie Fighter (or "Tie-Jager", to be precise).
This is the GERMAN Kenner model (as opposed to the United States' MPC one), and I can only find scant information about it e.g.
http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=24257 (no details)

My one is actually still sealed in its box and is in mint condition.
It's a plastic model, as opposed to die-cast, measuring 172mmx119mm when built.
I'm pretty sure I bought this in 1977, though there is no manufacturing date on the box.
I've posted some pictures of it here: http://s1111.photobucket.com/albums/h467/Sbauctionphotos11/STAR%20WARS%20AUCTION/Darth%20Vader%20Tie%20Fighter%20Kenner/

If anyone could throw any light on this for starters, I'd be most grateful.

Cheers.

Sorry, don't know much about these.

You might try the German collectors forum (http://lichtgeschwindigkeit.de/) or maybe the Rebelscum forum.

ballpark: about 75euro on a good day

i think there was a sale of one of these recently (within the last 1é months or so) on RS... good luck using their search engine though :p
