jay you found some in your pond ,there is a river over fields where it can be found near us but was unsure what month to go gonna fatch some back so kids can watch them grow in to frogs

Actually, on the same line, I did an ant farm for my Nieces. That was pretty cool.

I think doing things like that is good for kids to see and learn about.

why is there something i need to know .i was just gonna stick some in a tank ion back yard

when we were kids we used to get them as tadpoles

i have some already, so any time now will do. get some of the water they are in and add tap or rain water to it. you need something for them to eat when they hatch or they will eat each other . some fish food or ask at locl garden centre. they need some plants to keep water fresh and something to rest on or they will drown . good luck

going down sunday after finishing at shop.though if its freezing weather not gonna take any out the river just keep going back.its a great trek any way .you get to go through streams and down some steep mud hills so the kids love it.only problem daughter has invited everyone from her class :|

went yesyerday ,me and little lass .had a great time .i fell in river showing off .and she was loving walking in them with wellies on .anyway we walked forever and just as we were getting home where the stream started there was 3 lots there .now this s the first time i have seen it .i have seen taddy.s and frogs but never spawn.so after jumping in to farm yard to get a old bucket (daughter now thinks i am big time crimanal and insist i take it back when we release the frogs)i thought i will just take half a clump,****ING HELL its like ****ing glue.so now i have ****ing hundreds of eggs in bairns old sandpit :lol: :lol:
