French Star wars Collections

Hello, I am new to this forum and new to the star wars craze, I know very little about Star wars but a few years back found in a hotel room a pile of star wars magazines and a binder with hundreds of pages in. I do not know if this is good or just a waste of my time keeping them in my house. And as they are French have no clue where to go to see how much they are worth etc. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks Dan
