I am having major issues with the forum & have been for a few days now, its incredibly slow at loading for me & quite often I just get this message & can't use the forum -

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Is it just me or is anyone else having the same issue?? & if its just me how the hell can I correct the problem??.

I have just done a total wipe of my hard drive & done a fresh install of my PC from scratch as well, so it should be flying at light-speed which it is for every thing else - Help please guys

i got the very same thing today around 1pm ish for around a 5 min period where i just could not get on here . havent had it before or since and it was nothing to do with my system which is top of its game, and everything else i logged into or looked at the same time as trying here were all fine and fast it was just this place that didnt work so i gave up and came back half hour later and it was fine again , im wandering if this was just me or not today

Yes Frank I'd say it's been a bit temperamental recently.

Sorry for the issues. This forum is hosted on shared servers in America, which means when they do 'overnight maintenance' it is actually morning/afternoon here, which is why the website is sometimes down for an hour or two during the day. Also due to it being on shared servers, if any of the other websites are particularly busy, it will slow this one down.

Don't worry there's nothing wrong with the website, it's not going anywhere, that's just the trade-off for not having a dedicated server (which is too expensive for a non-profit website.)
