Can the Emperor's Royal Guard defend his crown?
Can he be the first defending champion to qualify from the first round and not be eliminated at the first hurdle like previous champions?
Will we see a good guy win?
Perhaps a winner without a helmet?
Will the deaths of Carrie Fisher and Kenny Baker see their figures come out on top?
Time will tell.
It's that time of year again when we find out who is the Forums current favourite figure. The first three years of this competition has seen three different champions;
2016 - Emperor's Royal Guard
2015 - Boba Fett
2014 - Stormtrooper
The bad guys have always been popular, only Luke Farmboy has been the only good guy to ever reach the final and the ERG beat him comfortably last year 23-18 in the final.
I have rejigged the structure this year. rather than 32 groups of 3 or 4 in the first round, it will be 16 groups of 6 or 7, the top two will progress into the knockout stages. I will also make all the rounds using a poll as we get more votes when someone has just got to click options rather than typing stuff up (lazy little rascals). After the first round it will be a straight knockout comp.
