For anyone who fancies it.

Usual routine, pick your team from here http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ and then enter this league code 6247-2642 and then just sit back and watch me reclaim my title! 8)

Ps, for anyone who hasn't played before, it's all free. Free to enter, free to play and you stand to win a massive **** all squared!

Ohh and you can make unlimited transfers until the season starts so no need to worry about picking and sticking with your team before all the clubs have finished spending/wasting their transfer budgets.

It was a great season and very close in the end but the best man won  :D :p

I'm in!
Played this with friends for a few years, but the last couple of seasons interest had wained, so great to find a new league to play in.
Team Name: Savory Strike
Fully expect to have changed my whole squad by the time the Premier League actually starts though!

A tough league - mid table respectability would have won me a work colleagues league :)

I'm in again

I was gutted. I was a couple of hundred points off the lead, got it all back and took the lead with two weeks to go then that wanker Giggsy shafted me by not picking Mata and Rooney got injured.

It's great fun, but also incredibly frustrating at times.

I'm in. Come on chaps. Only a handful so far.

I need a competitive league to keep me interested all the way into October. :D

Everyone else has got in ok. If you're still struggling LMK and i'll "invite" you. Though i dont know if i need your team name, number or email address for that

Right, I'm in. Not sure what happened before.
Yare Valley Magic won't be making up the numbers folks.

Anyone else struggling to finalise their team!?

Yep, i've gone back and fourth about 6 times. Putting in Sanchez, thinking better of it and taking him out again, then putting him back in, then taking him out. I have 2 possible teams. Both are great but it's gotta be one or the other and it's doing me in. Which ever one i chose will be wrong. Not played a season yet where i didn't swap out at least 9 players a couple of weeks in.

Yeap, with you on Sanchez and with you on making stupid numbers of transfers or playing my wildcard inside the first few weeks.

I hate this stag of FF, it gets so much easier as it goes on.

Not going to defend my title this year as it really ruins my viewing entertainment for the season. I prefer to watch the games without wanting individual glory for certain players so will do the decent thing and give you chaps your best chance of winning this league..... until I grow up and realise it's just a game and throw my hat back in the ring

Good luck all and enjoy your season of frustration

He's very expensive for a new unproven player who doesn't tend to score that many goals. Especially when there are so many other reliable players to chose from- Erikson, SIlva, Ramsey and so on. Even strungling to fit Toure in this year. 11m is steep! I want a full starting 11 of heavy hitters and if you buy the likes of Toure and Sanchez that's not possible. You gotta have a couple of duds in your stating every week.
Man, it's tough, and it's not even started yet!!

Agreed. Though Sanchez being classed as a midfielder helps. If Wenger plays him up front you can effectively play with four strikers every week. Mind you what happens when Walcott comes back? Will Giroud be upfront on his todd or will sanchez/walcott be up there with him?

I haven't even considered Toure. As you say 11 million is too much. I think he's a great player, but i suspect last season he over achieved at least pts wise. I cant see him doing the same again this year, tho i could be wrong. But with Silva at 9 million there are cheaper options for coverage of city's midfield.

Eriksen or Lamela is another tricky one. Eriksen killed me twice last year, great for 2 weeks, signed for my team, plays like a retard and them AVB/Sherwood bench him, but the third time i signed him he was great. I expect him to be a big player for spurs this year but i'm hearing Lamela is on fire in pre season. They are the same price. It's the gamble between proven PL performer and what is effectively a new signing.

Coutinho is betting rave reviews as well, but Pool's start to the season isnt great, also i worry he may be a bit of a modric, in that he'll assist the assister but nt get the pts he prob deserves.

Thats just the midfield, the forward options are no clearer, especially with RVP, Aguero and negrdo all injured, sturridge just back from injury, costa still a complete unknown as far as the PL goes and Giroud as reliable as a bus. Why cant spurs have a decent striker!?

Defence and keeper is a mare as well.

I'll be bald by the time i finalise my team..........then half of them will be benched and i'll have to play my wildcard inside 3 weeks.
