Foreign MOCs

After my recent purchase of a Harbert and a Popy, i wouldn't mind getting a few other foreign cards.

I know i could get a mint Meccano Jawa for about £70 and various GM or Dutch clippers for about £100...
... but what about the big guns?

What do you think are current market values for the most common;
Top Toys
Tol Toys
Lili Ledy
Takara
Spanish PBP
Peru Basa (just out of curiosity)
Glasslite

Are there many others i haven't mentioned?

Thanks in advance

Would depend greatly on character and condition.

Examples: You can easily find a TopToys Stormie for £100 or so yet would never find a Yoda or a Luke Jedi.

Same for PBP - you might be able to find a ROTJ Ackbar/Logray/Ree Yees etc but try finding another character and you just won't find one, or if you do it would cost you an arm and a leg (Luke Jedi comes to mind with until recently only 1 MOC known and a cardback)

Do you have some lined up to buy or is this just a general enquiry?

What might help you (if you aren't fussed about character) is a bit of a rarity list on each licensee.

Top Toys Figures - Chirpa/Stormy quite common, rest hard to incredibly rare to find.
Tol Toys Figures - ROTJ NN offer Toltoys can be found with some effort, earlier Toltoys figures are much harder to find.
Lili Ledy - Many of the "goon" type characters show up from time to time but main characters less so (apart from Luke Jedi which seems to turn up a decent amount and in many cases factory fresh condition)
Takara - I would say these are tough but doable, you usually see Vaders and threepios turning up from time to time, the alt vader sculpt though is a toughie.
Spanish PBP - As mentioned, really depends on characters but you see a few each year turn up (mostly ROTJ)
Peru Basa (just out of curiosity) - Forget it :)
Glasslite - Glasslite Droids figures turn up quite a bit on ebay (apart from Vlix) and there have been a few sales of the other figures Glasslite released in recent years.

I know of someone that has a perfect Leia Bespin GM that they are selling

Flipping heck, thanks Jorn & Joe!

No, nothing lined up but a genuine enquiry. My love for the collection and hobby is going global. My non focus focus is near completion (just need a Palitoy Logo). I love displaying the global appeal and branding, therefore i really don't have anything specific in mind, just a variety. You could say that this is my new "Foreign Non focus focus".

Jorn, you seem to keep a really good eye out and have great sources. If you see anything that you think i'll like please let me know, furthermore i'd be happy to buy your cast offs should you ever upgrade! Same for you Joe, if you guys don't mind!

Thanks again :D

Wow, just tried to answer you and had a further 3 responses!

Their is also Tshuda (Can never spell it lol) that manfactured the Japanese ROTJ Line

Also Yupy from Columbia too :)

Tsukuda MOC's are a little boring in my opinion as the stickers are on the reverse (they are just Kenner imports)

Yupi figures never came carded they were premiums I think (hence the size)

I feel exactly the same about the GM cards.

GM cards are nice if you don't like a logo obscuring the card art! ;)

I guess if you want a MOC to look interesting and different from the front whilst on display you have to get something that stands out, Tsukuda stickers and clipper stickers while cool don't really work in that area.

What about the 12-20 backs with the Clipper logo on the front?

Yeah they are beautiful Todd. I think I can honestly say in the last 8 years I have seen a handful of cardbacks and maybe 2 moc for sale? Hard one to aim for!
