Fords are just cheap to get repaired .I.d say only car worse is vauxhall .if you spend a little bit more on say a Peugeot vw toyata ye get much better built car .....well maybe not all toyata s lol

Ford's are generally pretty crap, sorry but the XR3i was a joke compared to the Golf GTI and 205 GTI back in the 80's.
IMO cars are for driving if it drives **** then it's a no for me.

I wish they would start importing Lancia's again - always fancied driving one.

Have to agree on the XR3i, they ended up having to restrict the standard Fiest XR2 (not the later XR2i)as it was faster than the XR3i  what a joke, but if you can get your hands on one of the old XR2's they fly, but rust at light speed

Not seen an old XR2 for years now come to think of it. I bet a decent one is worth some serious cash these days. I know a pristine 205 GTI, low mileage on an early plate A -D Reg that is totally originally and has not been messed about with can fetch quite a bit.

Wish I kept my C plate Silver one :(

It has to be right up there in terms of worst cars ever Michael along with the princess & ambassador, in fact did Austin ever make a decent car? :?

Don't think they did Frank, all their cars were pretty crap and they produced some dire colours as well.

Now my Mum had one of these around 1989/90.

A very rare car - an Isuzu Piazza (except everyone thought it was a Ferrari  I wish) She only kept it for 18 months because the ride was awful, it drank fuel like it was going out of fashion and it was prone to overheating

Now I can see Martin TC-14 driving one of those

mt first was a FIAT 126 Deluxe - the Deluxe meant it had a fog light bolted on the back and a cloth sun roof, which my head stuck through :)

Here it is complete with some flags from the local pub

Second car was this Mk3 Cortina - wish i'd kept that one. previous owners had lowered it an put a 5l engine in, but I got it with a 2l Pinto - fantastic runner
