Hi all,

My kids are grown up and were never really into SW, so time to sell my pride and joys.

... Excuse me while I wipe away the tears...

Anyway, I'm looking for some valuations, as I have no clue what things are going for. I've read some of the posts here about weapons, key parts etc, so tried to point those out below.

Everything is original - I'm 55 and I got these when I was a kid, around, what 10-12 years old maybe? All new at the time and only me as the only. They've been stuck in the loft since I grew out of them.

I seem to have 5 guns between the death star and X-wing, and to me, they look the same, so the photo below shows 4 + 1 on the x-wing, but when I opened the death star I realised it had no guns. To my rookie eye, the guns look to be the same between the two sets?? So I'm assuming I'd be better having the death star with 2 guns and the x-wing with one missing?

Figures
They are all loose and in really good condition compared to some I've seen on here which have paint rubbed off. As far as I can tell, I have weapons for all of them, all original from when I bought them, apart from the lightsabres, for some strange reason. One or two of the white ones have yellowed with time. Weapons aren't in the photos as I took them before I realised the weapons are key for valuation, but I can add them if anyone is interested.

X-Wing.
Not boxed.

Death Star
The death star has all original parts including the top canopy, which has gone that orangey-brown color, the trash compactor shoot, and the clips. It's boxed, but the box is battered. The only issue with the deathstar is some water damage on the trash compactor floor - which I think make it look more realistic :) (I've not taken photos of this yet - will do over the next day or two)

Snowspeeder
In good condition. Not sure if it still makes the laser noise as I don't want to open the battery compartment in case I break it. Not boxed.

Minirigs
Boxed with instructions.

Any advice on value would be much appreciated.

Regards,
Andy

And just found a bit of time to take the death star photos. Now that I've opened it, there are also some cellotape marks around where the water damage occurred. No idea what was going on there, but it is what it is. I've taken a couple of close-ups of the cellotape/water damage.

Lovely childhood collection! I would definitely add pictures of the weapons. Are you sure you want to sell? The amount of people who sell up and regret it later is crazy... If you do, it would be worth keeping one or two of your favourites. Sorry, I'm a bit out of touch with prices, so not much help.

You'll get a good amount for this lot, as everything looks in VGC, complete etc. Death Star is the obvious highlight, but things like the PDT-8 (rarest of the boxed mini-rigs) will fetch decent money. None of the figures are particularly rare, but condition is good and if they all have their weapons, they'll be worth a bit. Do you have the Sandpeople capes?

No capes, unfortunately. If I've got capes, they're in the photos. I'll add weapon photos later (plus a couple of extras like breathing masks, the backpack thing for the c3po that comes apart.

Some lovely items you have.

Especially the Death Star should earn you quite a bit of money, even if not complete.

Does the Death Star have the clips to assemble it? Instructions maybe?
