Well as per title I finally got my **** together & decided to give framing a go, I have never used a router before & once I did try realised I only have one bloody bit that fits the router I have  how typical, & I can't get the old 1950's table saw to cut straight to the mm as is needed for this kind of thing for the mitres, but hey at least I pulled my thumb out & had a go, I will persevere & see if I can't improve on the end result, but it's high time I got some of the many pictures I have in some proper frames & I am as you all know way to tight to go buy them when I could be spending the cash on vintage goodies
first go I am not exactly happy with, but a sure fire improvement on the clip frame & Mike's work really deserves better -

2nd attempt is better but still not perfect but I did this piece back in 2000 so it's high time it finally got on the wall, quite happy with this one, just hope I can improve on it, really should have took carpentry on when I left school like I was intending to as I love woodworking.

Now to find a bit of suitable wall space - there's always something init :?
