Should be there! Did I read that the "normal" traders day is on Saturday this time?

Hey

So this is the official schedule (as such):

Saturday 10.00 - 16.00 brings the Toy Fair, featuring the best traders in vintage Star Wars toys and memorabilia. Whether you're hunting for rare action figures, vintage playsets, or limited edition collectibles, you'll find it all here.

Sunday 10.00 - 12.45 is a true collector's dream with our Room Sales Swap Meet. Bring your duplicates, unwanted items, and rarities to sell, swap, or trade in a laid-back, "anything goes" style—just as the space allows. The limits of what you can bring are whatever you can hand carry in one load, beyond that it can be vintage, modern, non-toy or non-Star Wars even, the stuff and the more toys, the better.

Sunday 13.15 - 16.00 You won't want to miss the panel presentations on Sunday afternoon, where Steve Evans and other experts share insider stories and insights into the making of your most treasured collectibles.

Well - As well as trying to sell a few books (10 is the goal) - I am very much in the market for: A decent solid C3-P0, Saggletooth & Cloud Car Pilot - need to finish off my 77 lose figure run - I am sure a few other things might catch my eye :)

Day 2 was quiet as well - loads of nice people and conversations and all three presentations at the end of the day were fascinating, worth the day to hear them. But predictably I bought 1 toy (a lose Rebo Band) and sold exactly zero books 😀 - I did crack the headset out for a bit though.

Sorry to hear that, if it makes you feel any better I sold zero MOCs over two days the first (and last) time I did a Memorabilia!

I was intending to come yesterday but the kids were stuck indoors all day due to the dangerous winds so couldn't really go out on my own. The format for today didn't work for me as I now have to take my son swimming on Sunday mornings, and as much as I enjoy the talks it's the sellers I go there for so today's agenda wasn't the priority for me anyway. How did the "room sales" go?

Good of them to try a new format, but perhaps a bit too ambitious based on the downward trajectory of visitors over the last few events. Maybe time to return to a good old fashioned room full of sellers for the day, ditch the gimmicks? Or is Echo just too good to compete with now?

Another event I've missed this year! My collecting year never even got started this year. Looked like great fun and the Retro collection announcement is very welcome. Hope to get down next year. Well done Dave.

What was the retro collection announcement?
