Been a while since I've posted here, but after seeing so many familiar faces at the weekend, many of whom I orignally got to know through SWFUK, I thought take a look around here to see whats happening. It was a great weekend as always, complete Star Wars overload. I arrived on the Saturday afternoon and got to meet Guy Henry who played Tarkin in R1 and picked up an autograph from him. Saturday evening was as lively as ever. Ended up staying in Ringwood due to lack of room availabilty in Fordingbridge itself. About a dozen of us went for curry and ended up having a late drink one of the pubs in Ringwood. Sunday morning got to Fordingbridge for 10 to set up the Generation Skywalker stand (and to have sneak peak of what was offer) There was loads on offer and the vendors I spoke to said they had done well. I picked up a full counter display of ESB micro tins and a few other beyond the toys bits, as well as a couple of lovely prints from Mark Daniels. TBH I've still not adjusted to the new price levels of MOC so I think this is the only FF I've walked away from without one. Some lovely stuff there though. Gus did a talk on prototypes upstairs and TVR, Fantha Tracks and Generation Skywalker all did live podcasts. Jez did a ton of interviews so listen out for Generation Skywalkers FF follow up show which should drop in the next week or 2. I was really well attend and everyone was in great spirits, fantastic to be able to get back to a live show. Big shout to out Dave Tree for continuing to organise this. We really needed it.
