Falcon 2 piece lid

Is anyone aware of the 2 piece millenium falcon lid?

There are a pair of clips on the inside of the lid that are designed to hold the 'fake floor' piece - is this what you mean?

As far as I no all the vintage ones were one peice, unless your Dad trod on it. Not sure about the modern line.

My lid from my falcon was always in two parts - I never thought of the trod on theory!

As I would expect most collectors can tell a broken item, my best guess without pics is he came across a lid with the smuggling hatch cover attached underneath.

My childhood falcon had/has 2 parts to the lid. I cant remember breaking it as a kid, although I could be wrong

If these are the parts you have they are from the 2008 Hasbro legacy Falcon

If they look like this the bottom part is the seat

Sorry for delay in replying folks. I'm going to have to write this off as memory playing tricks on me. It must have broken with a clean break and been repaired by my brother or father or something !!
