I thought with the FA Cup third round this weekend, I'd see who everyone thought would win it, then I realised it would just be the usual selection of four teams (Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpol, and Man United).

So to make it more interesting how about predicting which team outside those four goes fartharest (if that's a word) and or wins it?
Obviously it all depends on the draws in the later rounds and a bit of luck, but for a fun who does anyone think has a decent chance?
Winner gets bragging rights on the Forum.

Personally I think Bolton are due a run in a cup competition, so I'll gonna go for them.

I'll go with Aston Villa as Martin O'Neill had a decent record in the cups with Leicester.

thats not fair , i can't have arsenal

i am not going to say a word craig , i am bigger than that and it would be childish and immature of me to write anything sarcastic or degrading about your team....... plus villa might do us tomorrow

Hmm, I was at work when the match was on so I haven't seen any highlights yet, only the goals. :(

We'll get our own back on Tuesday........

When I picked Villa I had forgotten they had drawn the Scum but I still think they will give you a run for your money !!

the stage is set for henrik to put one over on his mentor i'm afraid

as for the game earlier, you didn't miss much, it was boring for the first 30 mins then 2 goals for the gunners . thought you might get in to it when they pulled one back but henry finished it.

against our babies? I can see us winning that one too, and I still think you'll be crying come chamions League Final time. This year Arsenal seem to be raising their game for the big matches.

 I still haven't seen the game, only 5 minutes of highlights on MOTD. :x

You got a couple of good goals whilst we were controlling the game then a late counter attack goal to finish it so from what little I have seen you were hardly the dominant team !!

I'm not sure what team Rafa will pick on Tuesday now as I had expected some of our reserves to play like Palletta, Warnock and Fowler but now I wouldn't be surprised if he picks a strong team and Bellamy will destroy Senderos !!

Liverpool had all the posession but hardly any chances, Arsenal soaked it up and counter attacked beautifully 8) 8)

don't know wht Benitez didn't play Bellamy, he had him warming up the entire second half :?

Senderos was actually outstanding yesterday, so bring on the no necked wonder

He was probably outstanding as he wasn't up against any pace or trickery !!

I can't wait to play your kids on Tuesday and I have even booked a half day holiday at work so I will be home in time to watch it !! 8)

I had the pleasure of watching the game in the pub with 2 Arsenal fans and 4 scum fans!

It wasn't really a great game, gotta say the best team won though. Quite what Dudek was doing for that third goal I'll never know. I've seen OAP's hit the floor quicker!
Great way to put yourself in the shop window, and encourage the manager to keep playing you!

Roll on Tuesday, everyone knows the Carling cup is THE cup competition anyway! :?

its alright having alot of possession on the half way line but there was no creativity in the final third , no one seemed to have a bit of quality , someone who can do something special . arsenal could have been there all afternoon and not worried about any penertration.
maybe tuesday will be different with bellamy, but why put him in the squad , let him warm up for 45 mins and not play him :?

weasel and i are still in , craig crashed and burned at the first hurdle( just like the holders  ) anyone else fancy taking a pop at naming the team outside the top four to get the furthest ( you can have portsmouth craig but you know you are just going to lose again mate  )

It's easier for everyone else as they are coming on board in the 4th round!

Come on guys let's see who actually knows something about football!

(OBVIOUSLY, it won't be a United fan!)

leave the sheffield boys alone weasel its bad enough they are headed for the championship let alone not winning this

:D

You know I meant all the Surrey boys (Man United fans).

Don't like the look of Arsenal's draw in the fourth round much I gotta say! Obviously better than Liverpool's, but do they come much worse for Arsenal than Bolton, short of playin it at the Reebok!?
