If there's a run you're trying to to, but will either never find or afford a moc, then i can understand cardback collecting.

I have a collection of cardbacks. I collect them as and when i see them. I collect them because i dont collect moc figures and its nice to see all of the different cardbacks. I repair them so they can be displayed allthough i have never bothered to display them.
