Ever sold something and bought it back later??

2 recent incidences:

1. Sold an item to someone on eBay and got a message when they received it saying that's the exact same MOC they sold about 4 years ago, what's the chances of that?

2. Sold an item to someone on FB, 1 year later I contacted the person asking he still got it, they said yes and have upgraded, I asked if they want to sell it back to me they said yes for the same price.

No I have never bought anything back that I have sold or traded away as far as I know :lol:

Indeed I have! Few years ago I purchased an AFA 80,85,85 Palitoy 30 back Imperial Comm for £370 Couple of years later I let it go in a big trade & cash deal(back to the same person who by then was a good friend) as I was on a mission to complete a full set of Palitoy 12&20 backs :!:
A couple of years later my friend had sold it on and by then I was on another mission collecting Palitoy Empire :? By lucky hap it came back up for sale so I snapped it up(needless to say at considerably more than £370) :|
However am over the moon firstly because I needed it for my focus and it's not easy to find, secondly because according to the AFA pop report its the only graded example out there and thirdly an example sold earlier in the year on Vectis for 3K hammer price :shock:
