ok,

Started my TIE Pilot focus collection in September 2012. When you focus heavily and research a character a lot you get to find out lots of interesting things about it.

In 2 years of researching I never came across any evidence that a ESB 45 Back PBP existed.

I knew of the ROTJ 45 back PBP, but never had the ESB on my list. Its not on theSWCA, nowhere could I find evidence of it existing.

Last year I got contacted by Jonathan (J_G) about purchasing a ROTJ 45 Back PBP.

During our conversation he tells me that there was a ESB 45 Back and gave me a link to this picture:

As you can see, its not much of an image to go on. But- maybe it does exist. :?

Big thanks to Mark (Darth Stanley) for alerting me to this on eBay in Germany. I am blown away that I own it.

Mark- I owe you big time for this.

So- that makes 2 known ESB 45 back PBP Cardbacks.

Are there more?
Do you guys have any information?

Some Spanish guy offered the seller 200 Euros extra to the eBay seller to backdoor my deal.

The eBay seller was fantastic and told him that it was my property. Sometimes people value integrity over money, thank God.

Let me know if you guys know any more information on this piece.

Is there a MOC?

WOW,, And looks Mint condition compared to the other one you were offered..... What was the price on it and how much did Johnathan want for the one he offered you.

Two amazing pieces of collecting news that could be overshadowed by the unbelievably great pick-up, so well worth a repeat, great stuff Grant! 8)

Have you spoken to Jordan Hemsborough? Years ago he uncovered a load of these MOC - there may have been a TIE pilot in the lot?

They got split up (I bought the Rebel Soldier) and I think a lot ended up with Carlos (can't remember his last name). I sold mine for a song :(

Carlos = Cj = noble six = good guy. Dealt a few times with him.

That's awesome Grant, super happy for you and Mark is one of the best out there! Most people would have bought it and tried to make money by flipping it to you!

The German ROTJ 45 back or the Canadian Transition Card is the next one to find.

Not going to be easy.
