you reckon there will be any surprises!??? or will it be the usual suspects. id pick the usual players, with scope of a couple randoms who have a good season i.e grant holt and and kyle walker. id pick big kevin davies as a wildcard player hes a good holder of the ball and may be a good super sub

I'd like to see mostly young players with those who have tried and failed over and over again left at home. That's our only hope of ever achieving anything but i fear they will play "safe" and go with all the big names.
I'd have -

Hart
Walker / Lescott / Cahill / Cole
Parker / Walcott / Ashley Young / Gerrard (sadly we have no replacement for him yet as i'd rather he was left at home. I rate him but it's time to think of the future. He's had his chance. Wilshire would have gone here)
Rooney / Welbeck - this is a good partnership and we suck with only one up front.

Subs

GK, not much to choose from here. It's either Ben Foster or Paul Robinson. Personally i think i'd trust Robinson more but hopefully would have to use neither.
DF - Richards / Ferdinand / Leighton Baines
MF - Lennon / A. Johnson / Barry / Phil Jones /
FW - Defo / Crouch (close call with Sturridge but Sturridge really petered out towards the end of the season and Crouch does it every time for england)

john ruddy would be a better number two keeper than anyone else in my opinion.
kyle walker is a sure thing, he's been brilliant all season.
not sure about welbeck,
i'd also take oxlade-chamberlain, he was great for arsenal in the league and in europe.

hart

walker cahill richards cole

walcott parker gerrard chamberlain

holt crouch

or

debate :)

i think parkers out ,crouch only does it against **** teams .and dont matter anyway cause we wont get through group .roy hodson thats got everyone behind team

crouch may only do it agaist the **** teams, but no-one else even does that!
his record is awesome.
just switch parker for lamps

Dunno what to expect from the squad. The whole Terry /Ferdinand situation is a potential huge banana skin.
Dunno if I'd take Walker, he's Glen Johnson mark two and has also looked pretty bucked recently, nothin to do with Harry over playing half his squad.

I'd like to see Carroll go, I think he's come on leaps and bounds in the last few weeks and will be more use than Wellbeck or Sturridge.

Do you take Rooney, even though he's banned for the first two games, and England could actually be out by the time his ban is served?

Walcott is just back from an injury so he needs double checked before he gets picked. Not for a second would I trust ANYTHING the Arsenal medical staff tell me! Those boys got their qualifications from the back of a cereal packet.

i actually thought i'd deleted rooney. great player, **** role model!
switch him and carrol then. i'll email this to the fa

I agree, BUT the options are Rooney (banned for first 2 games), Wellbeck/Sturridge (raw, inexperienced and TBH IMO they flatter to deceive), Carroll (we all know how he started but has been on fire recently), Crouch and DeFoe (played 4 games all season, and has splinters in his ass from warming that spurs bench).

You're short on options up front.

Iain is a fan of the mighty tractor boys :?

Ahhh, with you now!

Radio this morning seemed to think Ferdinand in being left behind and John 'I'm not a racist scum bag' Terry is going.

Downing? No goals and no assists in an entire PL season!
Surely there were more potent attacking options..............a cone for instance!
