Edinburgh Stag Do Help...

I'm organising my little bro's stag-do in Edinburgh (Early October), it's been a very very long time since I was last up there, so any help would be appreciated?

I've sorted the hotel & train arrangements, so we've staying in the city centre.

My brother wants activities & sightseeing , but I'm sure we can include some gambling & strippers!!!!

Q:He likes comedy clubs, is THE STAND any good?
Q:Which is the busy night out pubbing & clubbing FRIDAY or SATURDAY?
Q:Any good places for a CURRY?
Q:Good BARS or CLUBS?
Q:Any good stag-do activities (remember we'll have to use public transport or taxi's)
Q:Is the underground city tour any good?

If I've missed anything, please feel free to point me in the right direction.

Edinburgh was one of the best stag do's ive ever been on, we went go karting on the 1st day and comedy club on the second, cant be more specific but the scottish breakfasts were awesome, the strip clubs the best ive been in for years.

it'l be a blast mate.

I went to a stag do 3 year ago. We did white water rafting. Both nights will be busy. Transport is good but buses do not give change so have exact money unless you're taxi-ing. Rickshaws are Fun too. Yes the strip club was good, we did a stag special where about 12 of us chipped in a tenner.
Loads of pizzas, curry places etc.

Did the underground ghosty tour back in March when it was bloody freezing. Was really entertaining. There are various tour operators. Ours was City of the Dead (I think).

As for drinking, Edinburgh is full of nice pubs and restaurants. Don't know anything about clubs up there.

As above, plus the Mary King's Close tour was good...

For strip bars, they probably have some new ones since I was last there but you can just hop in a taxi and ask to go to the "Hairy Triangle"... 3 bars all on the corners of a 3 way junction.
