Hey fellas, I've been selling a few items lately on Ebay and noticed more and more people with Private feedback. This shits me no end as I like to see what these people are all about through their feedback. Most seem to have at least one neg but I have no way of knowing what for? Mind you all of these members have been from either Spain or France.
I tried to find some info on why Ebay allows this as it makes a complete ( if it wasn't already ) mockery of the feedback system, utter bullshit. Apparently from what I could find the ( private ) option is there to prevent Ebay being sued for defamatory comments or accustations being made against a member, if the member has the option to make said comments it private then Ebay avoids a potential lawsuit.
I'm considering cancelling any bids of buyers with private feedback as the last one of these who won ended up backing out of the sale, the dick then left me positive feedback for the item which then no longer made me eligible for a fee refund and has people questioning why I re-listed the item when it's shown as sold through my feedback, wanker.
Do any of you blokes refuse to sell to private feedback Ebay members?
Cheers Ryan
