suppose this is the right area,,, i have an item on ebay, x-wing that has been won but after two invoices and a polite email, i finally filed an unpaid item case.
It getting towards the 30 day limit.

do i close the case and keep my final value fee?? or do i let it run?
if i do close it can i leave smelly feedback?

If some one contacted me and said ,,Hey i am stuck right now can you wait, or relist i would just relist and leave it,, but no replies and invoices and a case open, just sucks and they deserve their whoopin.

what do you guys normally do (excluding the tried and trusted "Poobox" -pat pending)

:D nut

Hi mate

I have the same problem. I have two people (3 items) that have not been paid for. Both have ignored all my messages so I opened up cases. Yesterday I sent message to both saying I would close the case, they would get the non payment strike, I would leave feedback saying they hadnt paid and I would post their names on the forum.

I finally got a response back from one today saying he didnt want it anymore - I sent one back stating it was tough he had entered a legal contract and that I would close the case if he didnt pay - he said OK !!

Bunch of arse the lot of them - it is wrong that in this case that a negative can't be left for people like this

:x yeah if i was a day or two late with postage i would be griped and groaned about,, but not one neg yet thank god.

i just i will just close it and leave it.

You should put a comment on their feedback as well - they can not retaliate if you have opened a non-payment case and they have failed to respond (I learnt this the other day when some guy who didnt pay left me a neutral feedback calling me a bad seller! - it got wiped straight after I closed the case)

Well I closed the case and still no word from the buyer.
Then eBay had the usual leave feedback option so I left a fair but blunt comment.
And that was 3 days after closing .
