There's been a hell of a lot off piss take postage prices of late on ebay such as this one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321190695425?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I've recently seen 4.99 P&P for a loosie!

To be honest I think the final auction price reflects the postage - and the seller could loose out of the buyer files a complaint to eBay about the postage costs once it arrives - or even demands a refund.

Most it should cost to post a MOC is £6.75 and even allowing for materials - anything over £7.50 is not acceptable

Bloody hell that is steep and they have a boxed rebel transporter shipped for £10!

I agree Iain. I didnt know you could complain regarding the P&P - I thought this was a mistake at first.

I Pm the seller who wanted 4.99 for a loosie asking if it was a mistake - no mistake was the reply

That MOC location is the town I live in!!! Did you win it? I'd be happy to pick it up for you.

 Nice one mate - No I didnt bid due to the P&P - that would have been brill though

£21 score!
Yes, that postage is indeed ridiculous.
Good job I didn't win it, according to the small print postage would be even greater if the winner lived in London or on an MOD Base??

that p&p is a piss take! still £40 for moc romba is good. i paid £4 p&p for a loosie not long ago i knew what he was charging and still bid so thats my fault for bidding i guess, i wasnt aware you could complain about postage prices to ebay! note for future ****ing over on postage

Just check the price of the postage once it arrives. If it is less than 4.99 then open a case. I've done it a couple of times and got my money back. It should cost £1 to send a figure. About £1.69 tracked.

Excellent Pete - will keep that in mind! :D

I recently had an argument with an ebay seller who I won a full 1st set of SW Topps cards from. He didn't list New Zealand as a shipping destination but did list Oz... with a reasonable postage price plus a stupid customs charge (which would not have applied in NZ anyway). When I won the item he tried to charge me substantially more (over $30US) to send the cards here. I told him I no longer wanted them making my reasons clear and he opened a non-paying bidder case against me, and I ended up getting a "strike" from ebay

I think I remember seen some auctions in spain on ebay with a postage for one figure that is 100 Euro

is that legal ?
