EBay/PayPal advice

I've been waiting about three or four weeks for a delivery from China
Can someone remind how long is too long before putting in an 'item not received' complaint

Hey, this is common problem with buying stuff from China on ebay. Personally i don't think ebay uk should be clogged up with stuff from China and Hong Kong. Half of it doesn't even arrive.

Open in a claim now. If it arrives, great, close the claim. If it doesn't you won't have to wait another 20 days while ebay look into the case, to get your money back.

I agree but sometimes there is such a big price difference it's worth the hassle :?

I ordered something from China, which was dispatched on 17.12.14 and arrived on 31.12.14, that's pretty quick considering the Christmas holiday and the fact that ebay gave an estimation of arrival between 05.01.15 - 21.01.15.

If I was you I put in a claim as of now.

I've always found the Chinese sellers to be the most helpful and pleasant sellers on ebay, especially when things go wrong. I've had 2 instances when stuff from China never showed up and both sellers refunded me without the need to go through the Resolution Centre.
