DT Luke and Revenge Cards

Hi Ive posted in the most wanted for the above. I could be way off and not be able to afford either but what sort of ball park figures would you have to pay fo these items?

Condition isnt an issue for me, my collection is loose and i doubt id be able to afford the better ones, so id consider anything.

Id love to add one or two of these items to my collection.

Can you tell me what sort of figures i should be looking at?

And ...... does anyone have any spare they may be willing to part with? Please pm me.

I paid $700 (I think) for a really mint DT Luke - ungraded but solid source. The inner came from a kenner find so was utterly straight.

That's a wide, but certainly accurate range. Really only Fett and LFB go that high at the top of the range. Most boring characters - the Lobots, Snag, and Bespin Guards of the world - can be had in the GBP 350 or so range, and most others you shouldn't be paying more than GBP 500-600 for. They certainly aren't common, but by no means rare. Wait for your opportunity, and certainly don't overpay some of the crazy amounts that have been asked for lesser characters lately here and elsewhere.

As I understand it the figure is a standard LFB, the rare bit is the saber because less were produced and those that were are extremely fragile, hence changing to the standard telescoping saber. I believe the value will be down to the condition of the saber more than the figure. That said I would be wary of any where the saber is in better condition than the figure. As to the value itself someone else will have to help you out as I have no idea

If you want a bent saber, chewed tip and therefore bottom end you're looking at £175

Mark Walsh (coinnut) is a good friend of mine and is currently liquidating most of his revenge run. Are you looking for a particular figure?
They are expensive but considering they are a preproduction item and have the cancelled "revenge" on the cardback make them a great item to have to round out a collection

In fairness, you're looking about the same sort of money for a nice Luke DT as you are at one of Marc's proofs. They're very nice but I don't remember any of them being less than £400?

Have a bit of patience and something will come up for you. Keep your ear to the ground, and keep making friends. I recon I could buy any proof from the revenge run, save a couple, or a dt Luke by the end of the weekend. It would just be a case of how much over the odds I wanted to pay.

Well I bit the bullet and paid £825 for a UKG 85 DT Luke end of last year :!:
Tbh I didn't trust myself buying an ungraded example not feeling I knew enough. V happy with it as it is a mint stunner 8)
