This is an amazing error if legit!

That is amazing - and I would love to own it - but look at the price already - can see this going past $5000 easily - quite a few C3PO / DSD / Droids / oddity collectors out there right now

It is awesome isn't it?! I'm not usually fussed with variants, miscards etc, but this is fantastic! Shame it's going to go for crazy money, as it would look superb in your collection Iain 8)

That is all kinds of wonderful!
If only I were a very rich man... and I don't collect either figure, so can see why this will soar!

It's a brilliant piece. It's even more odd when you consider that the Fixed Limbs 3PO never came out on the 45 back, it'd been replaced by the Rem Limbs version by then. I think it's a FL, it's got the skinny torso. In unpainted form the 3PO and DSD figures would look very similar.

wow  that is a unique piece for sure and in great condition too 8)

I hope AFA dont grade that, as it has ink touch up :D

Very strange and unique though. However, the price is ****ing rediculous.

Yer they must of had some fixed limbs left over so decided to con us - I would have been disappointed getting it as a kid.

Wow! What a whopper of an error - perhaps even someone at the factory pissing around on purpose and sniggering with their co-worker about what they just did!!

I would normally call fake on this very loudly but it's being sold by CIB and you couldn't get a more rock solid seller, probably could come with a COA too.

If you have a focus on factory errors, Death Star Droids or C3POs then this is a proper grail item. You are not going to get another chance as I doubt it'll ever reappear on the market again.

 £4.8k.....

alot of mulan

If i had endless pockets if buy this for sure its amazing

i doubt it will see light again in the community i bet one of those closed door collectors got it.

$7100 was the final price - an amazing figure and really wish I could have added it but that is a crazy amount - and probably sets a record for a POP removed production card !!

I was actually surprised it didn't go much higher, I had bets on $8-10k with my brother.

Sure its an error, but its a production sealed one, it left the factory like it, Its a one off... Its also not just a minor paint app issue where a Ree-Yees hasn't had its hand painted. In a world of loose VCJs being sold ever closer to £1k recently (so an equivalence of c$1.4k), it seems a relative bargain really. Unlike the tiny vinyl caped wonder who you can buy every week, you'll never see another of these.

I guess it all depends on where you draw the line on crazy money... Personally I couldn't justify it, but it still doesn't seem anywhere as mad as it could have been.
